The School of Health Sciences at the University of Surrey is in an exciting period of development and opportunity with ambitious plans for the future that focus on the continuing development of excellence in teaching, building our international research profile and extending our clinical collaborations nationally and internationally.

We are seeking to appoint an Early Career Lecturer to augment our thriving research in the area of Workforce, Organisation and Wellbeing (WOW). The post holder will work with Professor Jill Maben to develop research and teaching related to the WOW theme in the School of Health Sciences. The post-holder will work primarily on research activities in the first 3 years (whilst on academic probation) and will be supported to submit research proposals and secure grant income, write publications and develop as a Principal investigator. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating research activities relating to the WOW theme; identifying and taking forward new research ideas, and, if not already held, will be supported to undertake a post-graduate qualification in learning and teaching, undertaking minimum teaching activities to support this.
