The Disability and Neurodiversity team at the University of Surrey are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced part-time Study Skills Tutor (SpLD and ASC) or a Specialist Mentor (MH) on an annually renewable fixed-term contract.

The function of this role is to provide regular one-to-one support for students, enabling them to develop independent learning strategies. Applicants will have experience of working with students in a Higher Education setting.

While salary is paid evenly over the year, post-holders will typically undertake the role over 32 core weeks of the year, inclusive of term-time and other periods of high demand.

We are looking to recruit a Tutor or Mentor two days per week in term-time. In your cover letter please indicate your availability, stating how many and which days / times of the week you are available (including evenings and weekends if applicable)
